Where I've been
I grew up in the Midwest, where hard work is a part of everyday life. I attended Kansas University and earned a degree in Finance with a focus on entrepreneurial studies. After college, I worked at a startup incubation center but then joined the United States Peace Corps, serving for two years in Moldova, a small country near Ukraine and Romania.
After my Peace Corps service, I moved to South Korea to teach middle school students English and traveled around Asia for a year and a half. Teaching those kids was like trying to sell sand in the desert—you had to be really persuasive! When I returned to the U.S., I moved to San Francisco and jumped into the startup world. I landed a sales job by telling the interviewer that if I could teach middle schoolers, I could sell anything. It worked! Out of over 100 salespeople, I was in the top 5 within my first year.
Over the past 14 years, I’ve become a seasoned sales leader. Now, I live in Oregon with my three young boys, coaching their sports teams and staying active.
Why I'm building this
In the startup world, you learn fast and work hard. I’ve always been drawn to finding ways to improve sales processes and make work more efficient. While working with companies like Locbox, FetchRev, and Hownd, I spent over five years helping family entertainment centers (FECs) increase foot traffic and book more events. However, I noticed that many FEC owners and managers struggled with managing their sales processes effectively.
I started helping a few FECs build out CRMs and sales processes as a hobby. However, I soon realized that just setting up a CRM and a process wasn’t enough. Sales reps needed more oversight, and owners needed help understanding how to use these tools for success. So, I decided to go all-in and start a company to provide that support.
My goal is to bridge the gap between passionate business owners and effective sales management. By offering comprehensive support to FEC owners and event managers, I help them achieve higher revenue, consistent event bookings, and smoother sales operations. Enabling sellers to be more successful and supporting FECs to grow and thrive is what drives me.
